Redheads are Here to Stay
My daughter has bright red curly hair. Ever since her copper mane started growing, I've been hearing gloom and doom predications about the longevity of the redhead.

According to Dr. Barry Starr, a geneticist-in-residence at the San Jose Tech Museum, redheads will be brightening our lives for years to come. Starr used the Hardy Weinberg equation to calculate that the population of redheads is about .1 percent. They are rare, but will not be going the way of the dodo or unicorn any time soon.
