Rude Service
I was just rudely ignored while waiting in line at Radio Shack on Soquel Ave.(you know who you are you very large "customer service rep."). Granted I had just had a run, my hair was sticking up in 75 different directions, and I may have looked a little itinerant. But, Julianna was as always carefully groomed, sitting quite patiently in her expensive stroller, playing with the earphones I intended to purchase.
One customer service guy was helping someone out. The other was busy making deals over the phone and ignoring me. So I threw the earphones down on the counter and left in a huff.
Was this the correct etiquette, Dear Reader? What do you do when confronted by bad service? This is a pressing concern because Santa Cruz has a reputation in this department that it fully lives up to.

This is very funny and got a good chuckle from me - especially the part about Julianna! Wasn't throwing the earphones down on the counter also rude? I can just about hear the sound they made!
This is an excellent point, anonymous. Was my behavior rude? Or was it warranted given the treatment I was receiving?
