A Constructive Way to Fidget
I was inspired to dust off my knitting needles this weekend after seeing the exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design. "Radical Lace and Subversive Knitting" brings together dozens of contemporary artists from around the world.
These tiny gloves were knit at 1/12 scale with medical wire that is used in IVs. Some of my favorite work included a dress knit from shredded dollar bills and a chandelier constructed from fiber optic wire.
