Dangers of Lead Paint
I have a column posted in today's NY Times Motherlode about the dangers of lead-based paint. If you have young children and live in an older home, please consider doing the tests. You can pick them up at almost any hardware store for under $10.
Also, the routine blood test Julianna had at 12 months was literally a life-saver. If you live in a city, please make sure you get your young child tested.
