At this rate, I'm updating my blog on a bi-annual basis. That doesn't mean you shouldn't check daily just to see if I mix things up.

For all of you Vampire Weekend fans out there, I have an important bit of info. An Oxford comma is the comma that precedes the "and" in a list. Many grammar nuts disapprove of this comma, but it depends whether you use AP style or Chicago Manual of Style. (if you don't know what these two things are (mom) you are lucky). OK--they are guides that copy editors use to make sure you have hyphenated and commated your writing appropriately.

My 15-month old loves Vampire Weekend--she may be their youngest fan. And she's learning about grammar and profanity all at once!
